.claude/to.gitignore, with a one-line comment naming what lives there. Claude Code keeps git worktrees and session state there, and none of it belongs in an open-source repo. Nothing under.claude/is tracked today; this keeps it that way for every clone, not only machines with a user-level ignore.The author's
